Hall Help!
The hall provides a vital source of income which helps pay for maintenance work in the parish. It is important that we keep the hall open and I am therefore appealing for more people to come forward and help. Please speak to Fr Anthony or Margaret McCallion. “Many Hands make Light Work!”
UPDATE on St Martins Primary School
A meeting was held in the council offices last Wednesday – the closure of St Martins Primary school will be reviewed after another two years.
The Archdiocese Educational representative – Miss Ellen McBride spoke about the “exceptional achievement” and “remarkable results” currently being achieved at St Martin’s even though it is a very small school. However, she also said “the Catholic Church has a policy at the moment to make their schools big schools”.  For more information see Bill Heaney’s article -
