Feast of St Martin of Tour, Patron Saint of our parish
Many thanks to the ladies who served in the hall, to those who provided that very nice cake used in marking the feast of our Patron Saint, Martin of Tours. Thanks also to all those who made it to the hall. God’s abundant blessings on all. 
Sacrament of Confirmation: Enrolment Mass
Congratulations to our P7 schoolchildren who were enrolled into the Sacrament of Confirmation preparation programme last Sunday. We pray that this Sacrament may truly make them soldiers of Christ ready to defend their faith in season and out of season. 
Month of Holy Souls
Throughout this month of holy souls Masses will be offered for all our beloved ones who passed from this life and are still on their way to our heavenly homeland. Masses will be offered especially for all those in our November list on the following days: Tuesday 20th and 27th November. Our morning rosary said on these dates will be for the same intention too. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
Save the Date—SVDP Outing 2019
SVDP is planning an outing to see CINDERELLA at the PAVILLION GLASGOW on Tuesday 3rd January 2019, a Matinee Performance at 1.30pm. Please sign up on the sheet at the back of the Church.

Aged 20-40? Our events are a great place for meeting fellow young Catholics. We are having a Quiz night in St. Mirin's Cathedral Hall so why not come along and test your knowledge of all things Scottish to bring in St. Andrew's Day. Newman Association
The 1918 Act: was it indeed a panacea for Catholic Education in Scotland. A talk by Professor Sir Tom Devine at The Ogilvie Centre, St Aloysius’ Church, Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RE at 7.30pm on Wednesday 21st  November 2018. All welcome. Non-members: admission £3 - includes refreshments.
All-night Vigil in Honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Council of Christian and Jews, West of Scotland Branch - A Celebration of Hanukkah and Advent
Come along and enjoy a celebration of food and festivity as we mark the time of Hanukkah and Advent. There will be doughnuts and cakes, as well as a presentation about the significance of both events from a representative of each community. Wednesday 5th December, 2pm at Giffnock Synagogue, 222 Fenwick Road, Giffnock G46 6UE. All welcome.
Pro-Life Mass
This month’s Pro-Life Mass will take place on Wednesday, 21st November in Blessed John Duns Scotus, 270 Ballater St, Gorbals G5 0YT. There will be Adoration at 6pm, followed by Rosary at 7pm and Mass at 7.30pm. All welcome. The celebrant will be Canon Paul Gargaro.
St Cecilia’s Musical Prayer Evening
