Last two weekend’s (12th/19th February) income was:
Offertory Collection £1,132.00 & Education Sunday £300 & 2nd Collection £140. Many thanks for your generosity to the parish and clergy. Highly appreciated. Our second collection next weekend (4th / 5th March) will be taken up in support of the Sick and Retired Clergy of the Archdiocese.
Glasgow Lourdes Hospitalite. Glasgow Archdiocese Lourdes Pilgrimage 14th – 21st July 2017.

Our Parish Pilgrimage to the Divine Mercy Shrine Krakow - Poland

Calling All Secondary School Pupils! RCAG Youth alongside various groups in the Archdiocese are excited to announce the launch of our new Monthly event: “The Summit”. But fear not you don’t need your hiking boots…we aren’t the biggest fans of climbing the mountain either! Jam-packed with exciting talks, workshops, activities, Holy Mass with the Archbishop and some decent scran—you’d be crazy to miss it. It’ll take place in Bl. John Duns Scotus R C Church, G5 0YT (just 10 mins walk from Glasgow City Centre)   2 - 5pm on Sunday, 12th March, 14th May & 11th June. Short-Term Pledge for Lent
The Pioneer Total Abstinence Association of the Sacred Heart is once again promoting the “Short-Term Pledge for Lent”, prayer leaflets are available at the back of the Church, there is also poster for further information”. Lenten evening event led by Fr Eamon Sweeney in St Patrick’s Church Coatbridge, Lanarkshire on Tuesday 21st March 217 commencing at 7.00pm. All are welcome to attend.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
Our Primary 3 schoolchildren will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) on Wednesday March 29th at 7pm in St Martin’s church. Parish Catechesis classes will be held on 11th, 18th and 25th March respectively, in the Church Sacristy from 10.30 - 11. 30am (approx.). Please remember these children and all our children in your prayers.
The WEE BOXES are available at the porch. Please take one home and return during Holy Week.
Lenten Alms  
During the weekends of Lent (with the exception of 4th Sunday of Lent: 26th March. S.C.I.A.F Sunday) we are asked to take up a retiral collection after each Mass which forms our ‘Lenten Alms’. This collection taken throughout the Archdiocese helps to support our sick and retired clergy. Fr Anthony thanks you most sincerely for your concern and kindness to his brother priests.
Adult Faith Formation: Award in Catholic Theological Education
If you would like the opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Faith this two-year part-time course may be for you. Whilst primarily aimed at those who wish to exercise the ministry of Catechist in the parish, it is also suitable for those who wish to study for their own purpose.
